Our Humanity’s Team Country Coordinator…Ejvind

July 5th, 2008 · No Comments

He is at once
A clown…
And filled with Wisdom.

He is at the same time
Working on himself
And lifting others up.

To me, he is a brother
Who always speaks his truth.

To my husband, he is a joy to be around
And just a plain good guy.

Ejvind is the country coordinator for Humanity’s Team in Denmark. Currently, he is one of the lead “roadies” on the HT Love Tour 2008 (there was one in 2007 throughout Europe). Thus far, they have manifested the money for an RV, travel for each of the seven folks who came over from Europe to do the tour (the North Americans are hosting them, but not on the RV route themselves.)

A Laughter Yoga, Ejvind is…and ex-military man who saw that Life/God has so much more to share with him.

I hope you will reach out to say hello to him. You can find him on the worldwide site (www.http://www.humanitysteam.org) or at the Love Tour 2008 site (http://www.htlovetour.org) The Love Tour site might be the easiest one at which to reach him right now.

Ask him questions, see where they’ve gone thus far (there’s a blog and pictures on the love tour site). They’ll be coming back from Vancouver, B. C. through a stop in Idaho, Boulder, Colorado; Salt Lake City, St. Louis at the Unity Church headquarters, and then headed back to Atlanta before they go back to Europe. If you’d like to host an overnight stay or a free hugs session between St. Louis and Atlanta, go the the HT Love Tour website and let them know.

Ejvind is a Star of Oneness…he’ll laught with you if you like…but never at you.

I love you, my bro. With gratitude.

For those moments when ’stuff’ seems so incredibly serious…

July 5th, 2008 · No Comments

I receive some really great notes to my inbox, and this is a quote from
An ebook by Joe Anthony called, ‘Manual for Self Mastery’. I haven’t
read the book; rather this came via The Daily Guru notes. Since I’ve
spent the last day or so truly disappointed in some people and some
events, God/Life conspired to have this appeared, and I am soooooo
grateful!
*************

One of the most persistent of errors is the belief that the spiritual
life is separate from our daily life in the home or office. The truly
spiritual mind sees no difference in the two. Differences in geography
seem to make them different in psychology, but the wise mind sees them as
one world.

A businessman is doing spiritual work when he refuses to waste his
energy in feeling disappointed. At the same time that Ralph Waldo Emerson
was writing his victorious philosophies, he was also raising the best
commercial apples in his home town of Concord, Massachusetts.

Don’t Be Afraid to Play Through Life.

Don’t be afraid to play through life. Retire from heavy thoughts. Take
everything with lighthearted wisdom. We are heavy because we think we
must make an impression, gain something, be somebody. In spite of what
society tells you, you need not be anybody at all in the eyes of men.
The only genuine need you have is to be a real human being. Try to see
this, try to feel it with all your heart. Then you will know what it
means to make the world your plaything.

quotes are from the ebook, Manual For Self Mastery by Joe
Anthony

From our Beautiful SpiritSiter, Anna-mari…Standing Up For Humanity!

June 15th, 2008 · No Comments

Anna-Mari is our Country Coordinator for South Africa.  She and her husband, Ben, put on a “Whole-in-One” Golf Tournament every year - and it is a rousing success each year, with professionals and amateurs - all to benefit ONEness and Humanity’s Team, and a New Spirituality…From South Africa to Germany…to Peru…to Argentina…to Canada and Japan and France…it is happening…We are STANDING UP AS ONE…AND WALKING OUR TALK…

I share this note from Anna-mari with you, with Love for Her and for the goals of a New Spirituality through this beloved vehicle, Humanity’s Team.

Peace.  We are all Leaders.  May I take your hand and we’ll stand up together?

***********************************

Tuesday 10th June was a significant day for me… I marched with 5000 others …. for humanity…. …

With Suraya – my “blind” friend, Sophy in the back, Margaux my daughter and my friend Mariaan.  My son Barend is in on the last picture.

I regard myself as an “ordinary” girl.  Certainly not the hurrah..rah type.  I am far too reserved and too much of a hermit to make a noise, let alone march… especially not with a banner!

The stirring started earlier this year when the world was commemorating Martin Luther King’s “I have a Dream”.  Goodness! What a speech!

Tension has been on the rise in my beloved country in most aspects of life.  I do not care what anyone-else’s perception of our life here is.  The only thing that matters is mine.  And I can tell you clearly – I do not like what I see.  I am fed-up with our leaders who are at best absent – seems like they have all adopted the “quiet diplomacy” trick.  And when they do say something their words are empty…. meaningless.

What do you do when people continue to get violently killed and abused on a daily basis all around you?  When we are no longer safe in our own homes?  When your leaders are absent?  When they do not listen?  What do you do?  Which incident will be “the” incident? When is enough enough?

One day it dawned on me in a sad way that maybe the day has come for me that sitting behind my laptop was not going to do it any longer.  Neither were my clever conversations and especially not looking the other way.  I knew that sitting around, hoping and dreaming that our problems will disappear had become a luxury.  I knew that the time had come for me to make a stand, to become visible; to step up and out.  That I will have to become MORE involved and to pull together with others who feel the same.

While I was contemplating the wild idea to start a march like Martin Luther King’s, the Million Man March of Desmond Dube’s  came to my attention.  It made absolute sense to support his courageous effort.  His objectives and these words on his website were my own!   www.millionmanmarch.co.za/

“With unity we can turn the situation around to the basics that have been the cornerstone of African society, botho /ubuntu.
It means co-existence, empathy and a capacity for doing well for and with others. This mass campaign is meant to address all sorts of crime but the main aim is to translate the dialogue about crime into action, its sources and severity…”   …. and ……  “all that is necessary for EVIL to prevail is for GOOD people to do NOTHING.”

The day before the march I started copping out for all of the “legitimate” reasons one can imagine … I started losing my steam.  Came evening all hope had left me.

It was in the dying moments of a telephone conversation with my friend Suraya in the closing hours of the day that we touched on the upcoming march.  And as I was telling her why I thought the time had come to take a physical stand a miraculous thing happened – I talked myself right back into my dream!  Came the morning I was up early…. I literally got my kids out of bed – they obviously thought I was crazy.  I called a friend, summoned our housekeeper and grabbed my HT banners.  I became the Spiritual Activist I claim myself to be!  I was on a mission!   I AM uBuntu – how can I not march?

What marching did for me:

·         I felt part of my beautiful Rainbow Nation, part of my SA family.  I was there with people from all colour and walks of life; people who truly love this country and who came to say in no uncertain terms: “enough is enough – we are going THIS way!”   I felt an amazing sense of solidarity and purpose – I was making a stand for what I personally believe:  there can be NO social transformation or African Renaissance without Personal/Spiritual transformation. There comes a day when you know what you know what you know.  This is the day that there is no turning back, when it becomes possible to announce who you are.  My day has come.

·         I felt proud of my fellow marchers, my children, my friends (yes – Suraya also turned up!) and my Sophy.  They had no idea what I was leading them into.  How amazing to watch them become free with me.  …joining in with song and cries for a better world.

·         I feel self-empowered.  I believe the world is as it is because we allow it to be so.  Not enough of us have stood up to show another direction.

·         Good intention can never be pointless – we were part of something worthwhile and we are making appositive difference.

·         I was reminded that if I am not part of the solution, I am part of the problem, and that all it takes for evil to flourish is for good people to do nothing.  I was reminded that when enough people get together, anything is possible.

I am marching on until the job is done.  You can count on me.

Love

Anna-Mari

Ps – Suraya – thank you for seeing!  I love you.

A Report/Post on the Humanity’s Team Global Council about Argentina…

May 29th, 2008 · No Comments

The Global Council Meeting and the ONEness Summit, from a teammate who is from Argentina.  I share it with you with gratitude and with love…knowing that a Shift has taken place once again, and that we grow ever closer to the waking and continual realization that

WE ARE ALL ONE…SOMOS UNO.

Peace.  Gracias.

P.S.  ‘Ruth’ is Ruth Luna, our beautiful Spirit who guides and coordinates the Worldwide Translation Team for Humanity’s Team (http://www.humanitysteam.org) and who is also taking part in the HT Love Tour 2008, about to go from our home here in the Atlanta area, all across the U.S., meeting and greeting people.  She’ll be here in a few days…some are already here…and it will be an experience of a lifetime.

I hope you find a space/place to meet them!

*******************************************************************************************

Dear Ones,

Let me share with you an e-mail sent to the HT
Argentina Yahoogroup by Miriam Klajnberg (Mir), a Teammate whom many of us had the pleasure of meeting.  She reports her experience attending a session of the Global Council Meeting as an observer.
The e-mail is dated May 19th, while we were still holding the GC Meeting.  For those of you who don’t know, Julio and Ana Ines are Gabriel’s parents.
With Love,
Ruth

Hello,

For those who don’t know, HT’s Global Council Meeting started last Saturday.  This means, that the country coordinators gather to define work strategies and actions to be taken this year.

The meeting of 2008 takes place in Argentina, and they are now, and until thursday meeting in Bellavista.

Since I don’t want this mail to be extremely long and boring, I will not tell you every minute of what happened there between saturday and sunday.  That shall come from the other teammates that participated.  But I feel it is VERY important to share with everyone what I felt, and the fantastic things I perceived:

- We are all one, and there is no physical barrier, nor language barrier, when we open our hearts and our energies to this.  I already knew this in my mind, and through brief moments shared with some working groups.  But here, it was MIND BLOWING.  Being with people from different countries, different cultures, different languages, different backgrounds, different cultures, and being able to feel ONE.  This confirms that this is a FACT and not just a message read in my computer.

- Being spiritual is not just sending cute messages and sweet words, nor cutting and pasting someone else’s messages: The time for ACTION has come, and action means WORKING.  This implies committing and doing things, go on the streets to awaken others and not “hiding away” behind our computer screens.

- The goal of HT is the awakening of consciousness, and, for 2008, actions are being prepared to accomplish this.

- HT is not vertical. People are not coming from abroad to tell us what to do:  They are a collective of loving, caring beings, with their own ideas, and who know how to listen to the opinions and ideas of others.  This is how they get, as a result, a consensus regarding the actions that are to be taken.  And that is what we get later on.

The working sessions really took a lot of work, and not only at that moment.  It was obvious that those proposing the ideas had thought about them, ellaborated them and reached consensus with their teams in their countries: each of them was the voice representing the team that stayed “at home”.

- I discovered that this wonderful movement called HT was created from Neale’s books, but that it has grown beyond them,  that we now not only read NDW, but all other authors that help us grow and awaken.  Every material, meditation, concept, is welcome.
EVERYTHING.
Because the important thing is not how we awaken, but being awake and continuing to grow, and helping others in this awakening of consciousness.

I am thrilled, and it is difficult to put all this into the words of a simple mail.  I would love to meet each and every one of you, so that you can FEEL the vibration that I brought from the activities of this weekend.

Thank you Gabriel!!! mostly for having invited me.  As always, I remain, unconditionally, at your service.  Thank you Julio for bringing us to the meeting and taking us back, always with those good vibes, no matter what happens.  Such a learning for me.

Thank you Ana Ines, because silently and behind stage, (as we, women, usually do), you are taking care of every detail.

A huge Thank You to Cristina, Ines, Lilia, Lucia, Perla, Ximena (in alphabetical order):it was great to go and to come back in the van, laughing and singing, and then sharing dinner with the joy and the  understanding that HT Argentina is so much more!!!!!, and that there is room for action and for fulfilling the expectations of our soul; to understand that we only need to occupy the place that our inner self tells us in order to achieve the change that we want to see/make/feel.
Acctions, not just words. Let’s stop waiting for something to happen.  LET’S MAKE IT A REALITY, NOW!

There is so much more to write, but I don’t want to bore you.  I feel immense love.  And an immense energy to move to action.  We are one, and since yesterday, those are definitely not just words. .
Let’s take action, by meeting in the Summit next weekend,  and let’s demonstrate that we are in the path, that CHANGE IS POSSIBLE, AND THAT IT ALREADY STARTED..
Bear hugs to everyone,
Mir

Did I just hear you ask about the Argentina Global Council Meeting?

May 24th, 2008 · No Comments

Coulda sworn I heard someone say, ‘Hey! So what happened at the Global Council meeting for Humanity’s Team worldwide this past week?’

Well, glad you asked.

As always, with the yearly meetings - which go for a week and are attended by the coordinators from around the planet - SHIFT HAPPENS. And it did this year as well.

But I’m not going to spend this Space to tell you all about it, because there are

PICTURES
NOTES
REPORTS
and more on the worldwide website: http://www.humanitysteam.org

The pictures are great and I’ve only seen, oh, maybe 30 or so.

The ONEness Summit is still going on as I type. Gabriel - our most beautiful Spirit, from Argentina, and his team, have done the impossible and brought the most incredible moments to all of us. Although Neale couldn’t attend in person because he had made other plans at the last minute, he is going to be there via Live Feed and that will make many folks feel better about him not being there. It is, actually, another blessed Shift that has taken place. Neale has moved being THE speaker, to being the founder…the dreamer of the original movement as it was then.

And now, we shift and move forward as Spiritual Activists changing us and changing the planet, and it allows the space for more messengers and messages that build and expand on our core messages (which can be found in one place at http://www.5steps2peace.org). By the way, if you have any messages or quotes you feel might serve us well to be put up there, comment back and let’s see what we can do, yes?

One more thing: Randall Wood - your passionate, informed, involved and committed Country Coordinator for the U.S.A. is still in Argentina at the ONEness Summit. Then, I believe he’s going to take in a little of the vast, beautiful, friendly country while he’s down there.

When he’s back, we’ll be meeting and talking, planning, co-creating and we’d love to have you join us. If you’re in the U.S.A. (or even if you’re not and you’d like to share some ideas/suggestions), just comment back and let’s hear from you. We have plenty of projects of all kinds (and welcome your creative ideas) to go around.

Silence is as creative as Conversation and there are moments when one is more workable than the other. Being silent always creates a bit of imbalance when it comes to co-creating, though, so let’s hear from you, yes?

With Love, Joy and Dancing - The Bridge is Being Built - and it is Us.

What would happen…? Some questions from the Space

May 3rd, 2008 · No Comments

I was sitting here thinking tonight…meditating…and enjoying precious time with my hubby and my three dogs (whom I call Padoodah Buddhas). The weather is mild…warm even (all the late spring/early summer brown bugs of every size and shape are beginning to flutter about the lights on the porches), and as the light open its arms to embrace the moon-lit night, we talked about whatever came to our thoughts in the moment.

One of those things was a conversation about Leaders.
What a Leader is…how it is defined in any organization, but most especially in a spiritual organization or movement.

In a church, it can be the minister who tells you What Is, from the learning he/she has acquired over the years, experientally or from a school/seminary.

In a synagogue, a mosque or the like, it is the respective spiritual leader who tells you…repeating often the wisdom of centuries past, brought forward to work - or not work - in the present.

And they tell us…some in a sharing way…others in a way that speaks to obedience…and we sit, listen, and then go to our homes, and do with the messages as we care to.

And I recalled the line that said ‘A Leader is not the one who creates more followers. A true Leader is the one who creates more Leaders.’

We are all Leaders. Each and every one of us.

You lead each moment of your experience into the next.

You lead by example - and who knows who sees you leading - and follows that example and uses it in their own experience of being a Leader.

You show your Leadership every time you use Courage as an effective tool of the moment - even when your voice shakes.

You utilize your Leadership when you stand up beside - and on behalf of - another who has not yet learned how to stand up.

You share your Leadership when you loosen the grip of that same Leadership so others may share the reins, rather than be controlled by them.

You display Leadership by acknowledging that the people around you in your Life are all Leaders in their own way.

You practice Leadership by learning from those others ways in which people express their own Leadership and share it with you.

You are a Leader when, in the moment, it works better for you to follow.
****************
Those were the Friday night thoughts we came up with about leaders and leadership.

What are your thoughts on Leadership in a New Spirituality environment? We’d love to hear from you.

There are no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ ways of being a Leader. Only what works and what doesn’t.

Oh, and a question: have any of you ever heard of the Precautionary Principle?
****************
May the night that embraces us, embrace you.
And may the Day bring you Blessings and Belly Laughs.
And Opportunities to pass your own beautiful form of Leadership forward.

Peace. We are the Leaders.
